We often get asked how to avoid the burn marks and damage from our furry friends. Obviously, our lawn treatments would help but we just wanted to give you some tips to get you started. Your lawn can take controlled amounts of nutrients but when a dog does its thing, they release an overdose of nitrogen and salts causing burning and stress to the lawn. Whilst normal advice is to go out straight away with a watering can and soak the affected area, we all understand and appreciate that everyone doesn't have time for this. Our advice would be to purchase some dog rocks. The most effective way to get the best results is to put the rocks in a separate jug of water to your dog’s drinking bowl. Follow all instructions on the packaging and the rocks will work. They do need to be replaced every couple of months but within two weeks you will see what a fantastic job they will do. As always as part of our lawn care program we will repair any damage caused by pets by seeding and top dressing.
